COMPARATIVE ANALISYS OF POETRY BY SAFVET-BEY BAŠAGIĆ AND HAMZA HUMO ON EXAMPLES OF SONGS JESENSKI UZDASI AND NJEZINE MISLI

Summary/Abstract: This text is writen regarding one hundred twenty years of Safvet – beg Bašagić’ birth and one hundred forty five years of Hamza Humo`s birth. The aim of this work is to show how poetic models in Bosniak literature changed in relatively short period. Although it seems that topic and motive related frameworks of the love poems „Jesenski uzdasi“ of Safvet – beg Bašagić and „Njezine misli“ whose author is Hamza Humo are almost identical, this analisys will show that poetics of Safvet – beg Bašagić is still based on oral tradition of sevdalinka and romantic elements while Hamza Humo`s poetry is highly modern.
