Summary/Abstract: This contribution deals with some problems during the application of the Act no. 106/1999 Coll., on free access to information, as amended, in practice the courts, which are also called. Obliged subjects under this Act. The contribution analyzes the specific case to which the practice must adequately react while complying with requests for information pursuant to Act no. 106/1999 Coll., and privacy. The author also points to the potential exploitability of the Act, which has to be one of the means to achieve a transparent and open governance.
