Obstacles and dysfunctions in knowledge transfer between corporation headquarter and foreign subsidiary

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the process of knowledge transfer between headquarters and subsidiaries through expatriates. At each stage of this flow, dysfunctions that prevent efficient transmission, collection, absorption and utilization of know-how on managing the markets of the host countries were indicated.
