Summary/Abstract: The author presents the economic developpement of the period of Napoleon III. He focuses on the agriculture and he presents the changes of this branch of the French economy. First of all we know the situation of the French rural population. We know the developpement of the railway during the Second Empire. And the author presents the changes in the economy and in the agriculture in detail, backed up by statistics.
