Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the topic that Ulrich Beck called ,,Risk society". It appeared as the first visible consequence of globalization and modernization. Specifically, this paper presents the areas of influence of risk and the impact of risk. Also, in addition to explanation of "boomerang effect" are covered the topics about risk sharing and "The irony of risk".
