Summary/Abstract: The focus in the article is on the names of the beverages borrowed from Turkish. The description comprises the appellations of tea, milk drinks, fruit drinks made of: watermelons, pears, apples, grapes and lemons, tipples, especially wine and beer made at home form millet, buckwheat, barley and honey. The analysis proved that the dialects of the Russian language have saved the most numerous quantity of the appellatives of Turkish origin beverages until now.
