Summary/Abstract: The paper consists of introduction; two theoretical parts and conclusions. The first part discusses the issue and examples of social responsibility in the FMCG retail. The second part of the study presents the frequent practice of abuse of retailers with respect to market partners; which undermine the real motivation of retail chains in corporate social responsibility.
