Summary/Abstract: An undertaken review of recent researches gives an insight into the vectors of development of Belarusian studies in Belarus and Poland. Special attention has been paid to the researches devoted to the formation of New Belarusian literature. It is claimed that one the major trends of literary studies and linguistics is interest to the national and spiritual aspect.
