Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to present the personality of a famous artist, researcher and teacher Yazep Drazdovich as a writer. Subject, problematic, variety of genres and stylistic features of the author’s literary work were analyzed on the material of the short novel “The Hostage of the Tender Heart, or Gelka”, the novel “Garadolnia’s Forest”, the story “A Big Swell”, fantastic sketches, the poem “Funeral Feast of the Past”, diaries and memoirs.
