The initiated author can see a different world, a possi¬ble world that surpasses the material one, and he is able to bring this vision to the reader. Eli¬ade reveals the magical in this world, portrays the fantastical events in an otherwise realistic tone and brings myths into contemporary social relevance, which brings his fantastic prose close to the processes of magical realism
