Summary/Abstract: Methodological aspects of argumentation in the context of pedagogical activities are analyzed in the article. Genesis of argumentation theory and its conceptual propositions under presentday conditions are presented. Content of the main means of argumentation, rules of discussion organization, principles of effective communication that can provide successful pedagogical activities are revealed.
