Summary/Abstract: The article deals with issues of investment in road construction and characte-rizes the sources of financing road construction in Bulgaria. The development of the road network for the period 2001-2010 is analyzed. Some main conclusions are made on this basis. Specific measures are identified for improving the natural indicators as well as the use of projects in realizing investment activities in road construction.
