Summary/Abstract: On 29.08.2013 the whole insurance portfolio of “Interamerikan Bulgaria” Sole Proprietor JSC is transferred to “Ïnsurance company Evroins” JSC. The aim of the research is to scrutinize the problems, which this insurance portfolio transfer sets to the existing litigation. Does the insurance portfolio transfer lead to a succession in the procedure (art. ПРА 227 of CPC) or is that a case of a transfer of contested rights (art. 226 CPC)?
