THE INSTITUTE OF CULTURE AND ARTS OF LUGANSK TARAS SHEVCHENKO NATIONAL UNIVERSITY IN THE SYSTEM OF MUSIC EDUCATION OF UKRAINE

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the activities of the Institute of Culture and Arts at Lugansk’s Taras Shevchenko National University, in the context of music education in the Ukraine following the signing of the Bologna Declaration. This paper reviews the system of amateur/ professional music education in different institutions in the Ukraine. Professional activities of the selected faculty members working at the Institute are highlighted. Additionally, this essay discusses the types of specialized training in the field of musical culture offered by the Institute.
