Conceptual aspects of human capital and its importance

Summary/Abstract: Word is changing permanently that is why European Union have to become a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy. Areas of human capital, knowledge, education, especially at higher level need special attention. Education and science determine processes of creating and investing in human capital what could help to increase knowledge and create competitive economy. Investing in human capital is one of the most important factors determining the development of the modern economy. This issue has particular importance to the ongoing globalization and increasingly clearly defined competition in international markets. The dynamic development of areas related to the processing of information, informatization, new and advanced technologies, indisputably requires the involvement of high quality human capital, which is largely a derivative of education and gained qualifications, supported practical skills.
