Summary/Abstract: Poland has been a member of the European Union for 10 years. Through all these years, Poland has used of the structural funds. Access to the European Social Fund allowed for a stronger impact on the national, but also local and regional labor markets. The consequence of the effective use of the European Social Fund should be to improve the situation on the labor market, among other things, a decrease in unemployment, raising professional qualifications. It is possible for the rational management of financial resources and promote projects to meet the needs of the labor market. This article presents basic information of the labor market in Western Pomerania and identifies assumptions competition – strategic criteria and access the applicable projects in the field of the labor market, so that you can indicate the area diagnosed needs and trying to find initiatives to meet them.
