Summary/Abstract: The organizational culture of each company is based on the ideals and mission of the enter-prises, which are often cultivated by the owners of the company. From the very beginning of the business, the owners want to introduce some rules of behavior among employees and believe that the consequence will bring their loyalty and inspire creativity. On the basis of their treatments and ideas organizational culture is created and in the same time motivation system components are checked. As a result of these treatments a stable motivation system is created and used in the en-terprise with good results. The purpose of this paper is to present part of the results of the study conducted in one of the large enterprises operating in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province. The main objective of the study was to learn about the motivation system used in the enterprise. This objective was achieved through the following specific objectives: employees’ perception of the effectiveness of the moti-vation system, checking if needs as: achievement, power and affiliation are met through the moti-vation system, to investigate whether subjects identify themselves with the company. The main hypothesis assumed that the motivation system applied in the audited company strengthens the organizational culture by meeting the needs of employees. In order to verify the main hypothesis the following partial ones emerged: the respondents believe that used in the en-terprise motivation system is effective, needs as: achievement, power and affiliation are met through the motivation system used in the enterprise, subjects identify themselves with the compa-ny. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire consisting of 23 closed questions focused on issues of organizational culture and motivation system used in the enterprise. Some of the results are presented in the tables. The objectives of the study have been completed, while the analysis of the data obtained has enabled a positive verification of hypotheses.
