Summary/Abstract: The article looks at the pensions granted by the Polish Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) in 2014 from the Social Insurance Fund under the old and the new pension systems. The author presents the relevant regulations and characteristics of the beneficiaries such as retirement age, professional experience, sex, as well as the pension amounts. The article is based on the data published by ZUS.
