The impact of the Kamienna Góra Small Enterprise Special Economic Zone on the development of Jelenia Góra and the Jelenia Góra poviat

Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to determine the impact of the Kamienna Góra Small Enterprise Special Economic Zone (KGSESEZ) on the development processes occurring in Jelenia Góra and Jelenia Góra poviat. The area is located in the south-western part of the Lower Silesia Voivodeship and comprises three KGSESEZ sub-zones. The analysed data included the size of employment generated by the KGSESEZ or the amount of investments pursued by companies functioning in the special economic zone on the basis of a permit.
