Summary/Abstract: In principle, parental Austrian law in matters relating to maintenance is not fundamentally different from our right. But a study of the matter necessarily require a foray into comparative law in order to measure the distance between each other legal systems, which are their major differences and how they can be met. We hope that in our endeavor to narrowly escapes importance is given to the Austrian law parental duty maintenance and developed and detailed way in which it is governed.Beyond the provisions of the Austrian Civil Code concerning the right of maintenance of the child and its evaluation, in this study we tried to glean the most important rules relating to maintenance right through two laws: the law and the maintenance advance law protecting the right to maintenance. and also to illustrate the rules applicable to Austrian law.
