Summary/Abstract: Career management within the Ministry of Internal Affairs became a constant concern of the General Directorate of Human Resources Management that has performed a series of activities aimed to theoretically, but also practically, explore the characteristic elements of its area. In this study, the author presents some aspects concerning the Romanian police officer’s career planning and organization in terms of strategic documents developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
