Summary/Abstract: Today, subversion will be defined and characterized as an information warfare tool. Recent regional security incidents shows that means, motive, and opportunity exist for subversion, that this threat is real, and that it represents a significant vulnerability.With the existing evidence for the reality of the threat, it is possible to conclude that those responsible for critical national and military systems would be negligent by failing to address the subversion threat.
