Summary/Abstract: The paradoxes are one of the core topics of logic, philosophy, psychology, and social sciences. From the 1950s. of the 20th century they have been the subject of interest in the theory and practice of management. The objective of the paper is to review and analyse the importance of paradox (paradoxes) in the theory and practice of management. The starting point of consideration is the analysis of the role of paradoxes taken from various areas of knowledge: logic, philosophy, social sciences, psychology, in theoretical and practical applications in management. The study puts forward the following primary hypothesis: Paradoxes and their consequences are the new elements determining the increasing complexity of the conceptual and empirical aspects of management.
