Mixed methods approach in the process of methodological tensions’ reconcilation in management science

Summary/Abstract: The basic idea behind the paper is to advocate that Mixed Methods Approach might be seen as the theoretical construct of methodological tensions. In this vein two tensions are identified: epistemic and integration, which lead to the proposition of four dimesional model of conversation, integration, construction and normalization. The final part of the paper describes some model limitations, as well as future research directions.
