Summary/Abstract: The study of specialized foreign languages, in terms of formative capacity, a position which can be classified as privileged education across studied disciplines, provides a different way of expressing dual educational efforts. Specialized foreign languages are by their very status, instrumental disciplines with formative character, linked to practical skills of intellectual activity. Considered as a bridge between technical disciplines whose content illustrates humanist disciplines, the specialized foreign languages may constitute the preferential domain between the two main components: technical culture and humanistic culture, with all their implications in shaping an individual's personality. Methods, processes and various means offered by current pedagogy, aim suggesting possible and available ways to any teacher involved in teaching specialized languages - in this case scientific and technical German language. They are neither exhaustive nor binding and try to open new horizons within an activity which can be as exciting as difficult it is; all proposed approaches based on the idea of modulation and suppleness which may allow their enrichment, improvement and adaption to any of the specific conditions of application. From the proposed material is however necessary to draw the fundamental substrate, the principle of the modern school itself namely its formative capacity.
