Summary/Abstract: The author presents micro-histories concentrated on people and marginal objects originating from stories by the inhabitants of Wielopole Skrzyńskie. The local nature of the history of ”lesser events” suggests the concrete, which protects against abstraction and an excess of symbolisation. The approach proposed by micro-history, and its desire to render indelible the unknown dimension of selective knowledge, intentionally chooses fragmentariness and intermittence.
