Summary/Abstract: Development of state security depends on the ability of the state to use in an efficient and economical way internal resources or to ensure access to external economic resources. A strong state is based on a sustainable and integrated policy in a democratic society. Economic factors associated with irreversible process of globalization can generate security but can also produce the social and economic imbalances.
