Summary/Abstract: The author surveyed victims of forced and slave labour in Croatian during World War II. In addition to personal histories, the author reconstructs conditions in concentration and labour camps, and discusses the attitudes of domestic population towards victims. Special attention is given to status of women in Nazism, subjects of the Third Reich and inmates of concentration camps.
