Landscapes with no emotions

Summary/Abstract: The review of low pieces directed by Xavier Le Roy which was presented at the Festiwal Konfrontacje in Lublin (12-19.10.2013). The reviewer analyses the performance in which a group of naked actors construct a number of body landscapes and in this way attempt to “redefine the border between human and non-human”. The review also offers a brief history of contemporary dance based on the movement of non-human elements. Low pieces is considered to be inspired by the post-humanist philosophy.
