Summary/Abstract: The review of Diabeł (Devil, Teatr Współczesny, Szczecin, 6.10.2013, dir. Radosław Rychcik), a production based on philosophical writings of Jean Baudrillard, Slavoj Žižek and referring to the concept of evil in the films by David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick and William Friedkin. The bigger portion of the production is devoted to the deconstruction of the filmic world (together with some aspects of its creation) through the philosophical and cultural context. The reviewer claims that the production is chaotic and that its elements are not connected with any unifying concept, which leaves the viewer unable to understand them.
