Summary/Abstract: The present study starts from eulogizing the personality and theology of our finest roumanian theologian of past century, Dumitru Stăniloae, emphasizing the most contemporary acknowledged voices from sistematic field of theology, that encourage such an dialogue. It is also stress an close intertwining of theology, thought and ethos of father Stăniloae regarding the matter of salvation and deification of man. In this respect, father Stăniloae states clear: we can speack about salvation of man only in terms of uncreated grace, and also as an extension of the Holy Trinity relations of love and communion. This two areas are the basics improvement of Stăniloae vision of salvation into the romanian field of sistematic theology, that comes as an inherit of an patristic ethos, developing first by Saint Gregory Palama and then by Saint Nicholas Cabasilas. Regarding the first statement, father Stăniloae sustain that our salvation is an process unifying all uncreated acts of God’s love for He’s rational creatures, grace. He deny the perspective of created greace as Augustin and Toma de Aquino sustained, supplying important arguments into he’s account, that’s why we consider he’s theology as being original and valuable. Concluding about salvation of man, father Stăniloae brings light on the subject, speacking in keys of restauration of man, not justification, as protestant theology does. Salvation and deification of man springs from the resurrected body of Christ that engage our body to die for the sin and to rise among Jesus Christ for the kingdom of God. He’s contribution move’s the accent from the cross to the spiritual dimension of resurrection, struggle by this, against the vision of famoust theologians like Martin Luther, Karl Barth, Karl Rahner, Hans Urs von Balthasar etc. Father Dumitru Stăniloae was very prolific theologically, not only in terms of quantity but also as far as quality is concerned, and as we seen, in terms of originality also.
