Singularity of the Human Resources Recruitment and Selection Trends in Private Sector of Šiauliai

Summary/Abstract: The object of the research is private sector of Šiauliai, its personnel opinion research on the procedure and methods of personnel recruitment and selection. The main aim to find out the opinion of the private sector personnel about the system of human resources recruitment and selection. Various scientific works and literature, material from the Internet and mass media were used for the analysis. A written questionnaire was administered. The analysis of the date was made using MS EXCEL program. It included 100 private sector employees of Šiauliai city. Study findings: the main ways and methods of personnel recruitment selection possibly useful for other institutions and organizations were surveyed. The main ways of recruitment in private sector is recommendations and suggestion from manager of organization. Ability to communicate, self – confidence, optimism, personal qualities, analytic contemplation, administrative and management abilities – all these are priority factors getting a job in private sector. Study results could be used optimizing human resources recruitment and selection system in private sector.
