Summary/Abstract: The adverb can not describe out of word group. This paper will study the semantics and pragmatics of word groups with adverbs and adjectives and their role in second language education for beginners. The adverb is one of the language means for expressing quality’s degree of object. The omonimia of some adverbs and ajectives creates problems and opportunities in second language learning.
