Summary/Abstract: The division inside BH society has conditioned the making of three media systems, based on national grounds. The article will point out the causes of survival of parallel media systems, possibilities of setting special agendas in each of the systems and effects of media constructed in such way on further social processes. The situation in which Bosnia and Herzegovina currently is evidently shows that each nation has its mainstream media, media which produce news for “their own” public. The interesting thing to see here is what kind of influence the media from “other” systems have and who they influence. Furthermore, it will be explored which steps are required so that such media would be considered as objective and impartial in the area of entire Bosnia and Herzegovina
