Summary/Abstract: In November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris have brought forth a topical issue. If inrecent years it seemed that terrorism was taking place especially in areas heavily influenced byISIS, such as Iraq and Syria, it seems that recently they turn their attention to European countriesand beyond. This resulted not only now, but also over time to take legal and military measures tostop this phenomenon. Blurring this phenomenon is a lengthy process, which may not ever becompleted, radicals have been in all of human history. Thus interstate cooperation develops forcombating terrorism, in legal terms there are numerous international conventions and protocols.And in Romania in February 2014 we enjoy a law regarding preventing and combating terrorismand national authority in this area, the Romanian Information Service, made efforts to secure thecountry and to remain at low levels of the national terrorist alert.
