Significant lexico-grammar patterns in corpus research on images of nationalities

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the contribution is to reveal significant lexico-grammar patterns in corpus research on stereotypes of nationalities. In the proposal we combine the lexico-grammar approach with corpus research methodology. The research concerns chosen Polish, Czech and Slovak lexemes denoting nationalities in corpora of the Polish, Slovak and Czech languages. The starting point is to find grammar patterns by searching lexemes in one language (i.e. Czech in the Czech language). The grammar patterns are analysed in terms of their significance in various corpora of a given language. Then they are compared with the corpora of other languages.
