Summary/Abstract: The article is about the New Testament apocryphal text Narattio Aphroditiani (BHG 806, CANT 55). It was translated in the earliest stage of the Old Bulgarian literature, distributed throughout Slavia Orthodoxa during the Middle Ages and known in three translations – one of the 10th–11th century and two from the middle of the 14th century. The subject of the the study is the first translation of the work. According to the studies made up to now it is known at least in three versions, as one of the most important for tracking the manuscript tradition of the work is the so-called “Novgorod version”. Besides systematization of the recent studies on the subject, there is a copy, unexplored so far – a representative of this “Novgorod version”, published in the study, in parallel with the Greek original. It is put in the Miscellany from late 16th – beg. 17th ñ. from the collection of the National Library of Poland (Aks.2743).
