Summary/Abstract: The notion introduced by J. Nasbitt has become an instrument for formulation and anticipation of the contemporary economic reality world-vide. The deliberations are presenting the selected megatrends (of overpopulation, unemployment, changes of intellectual capabilities of the mankind, globalization and servicisation), a synergic effect of which is, in my opinion – in result of cumulation – a national competitiveness, an important element of geoeconomics.
