Summary/Abstract: Conference „New faces of information space in Web 2.0 age”, organized by the Department of Information Science and Book Studies Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, took place on 8–9 October 2014 in the palace in Ostromecko. The aim of the conference was to discuss the changes in the information space in Web 2.0 age, the role of media in the second-generation Internet. An important topic of discussion was also new scientific communication channels and their use by content creators and users of information and also the role and promotion of library and information services in Web 2.0. During the meeting 22 papers were presented.
