Summary/Abstract: The idea of legal restrictions on TV advertising of a medicinal product is – in its core – the question of advertising of a very particular and sensitive product through a particular and strong affectting medium. Above mentioned aspects of the problem along with the need to protect human life and health justify the legal restrictions set by the state legislator. The article ,structured into five parts, consists of the author’s analysis of the legal regulations concerning the main problem and her attempt to answer the underlying question. The researcher points to the legal model of TV advertising of a medicinal product – defines basic concepts, presents limitations (substantive and formal) on TV advertising and draws finally conclusions.
