Changes of major participants’ positions in the international trade

Summary/Abstract: This paper underlines changes of positions of major participants in the international trade. European Union is the major global exporter and importer but with decreasing shares in the global exports and imports and with decreasing trade deficits. China is the biggest net exporter in the world with growing shares in the global exports and imports. The USA is the biggest net importer and second global importer and third exporter with dropping shares in the world exports and imports. Japan and Canada transformed from net exporters to net importers with growing trade deficits and dropping shares in the world exports and imports.
