Summary/Abstract: In the literature, there is more and more evidence that corporate philanthropy venture bring benefits such as increasing sales and market share, strengthening brand positioning, improving image, increasing ability to attract, motivate and retain employees, decreasing operating costs and increasing revenues, increasing the attractiveness for investors and financial analysts. Companies involved in philanthropic activities persist longer in the market and increase their competitiveness. This article presents a review of current research on the subject.
