Summary/Abstract: The paper aims at pointing out, for the first time in the Romanian specialized literature, the presence within Cucuteni-Tripolie settlements, of bone daggers created using as models similar items made of metal. Two older finds are reinterpreted as they were wrongly classified typologically, one as a spatula (the item of Cucuteni-Cetăţuie, Iaşi co.), another as an anthropomorphic statuette (the item of Bădiuţi, com. Ştefăneşti, Botoşani co.). At the same time, we point out the existence of a similar artifact among the finds of Truşeşti-Ţuguieta, Botoşani co., item whose storage place is not known nowadays. Classified in two typological variants, the described items belong to subphase Cucuteni B2, these artifacts being found in sites which belong to the late phases of the Cucuteni-Tripolie complex. They have analogies within the finds of Brânzeni III and Costeşti IV on the eastern bank of the Prut and also in the sites of the Vyhvatinţi type, situated on the Middle Dniestr and in the Cave Werteba of Bilcze Złote situated in the northeastern peripheral area of the Cucuteni-Tripolie cultural complex.
