On the basis of these data included in the long-term forecasts, in the article the financial condition of the eleven biggest cities in Poland has been assessed. The research comprises the period 2013-2016. According to the carried out analysis, the following cities have been regarded as those in the best financial condition: Katowice and Szczecin. The worst financial situation is typical of Poland's eastern cities, that is Białystok and Lublin.
