Innovation and dynamics of competition: evolutionary approach

Summary/Abstract: The first part of the paper deals with the issues of the role of innovation in competition theories within different streams of economic thought. In the next part, the premises of evolutionary economics and Nelson–Winter model have been presented. The model has been used to run a set of simulations of market agents behaviours and market structure evolution in relation to the various technological regimes.
