Efficiency of Polish economy’s innovation potential exploitation

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to measure the relative efficiency of Polish economy in the process of innovation input-output transformation. The first part of the paper pertains to the role of innovation in economic growth as well as the point of innovation efficiency and methods of its measurement. The empirical part of the article contains the results of evaluation of innovation activity efficiency of EU countries using DEA method.
