“Pots that grow in the earth.” Attempt to interpret modern pottery found in the fields

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to look for ethnological perspective of the modern era dishes, collected during archaeological excavations. Discovered material in the form of dish pieces and whole forms is found in the fields. The authors consider in this article what is the cause of “storage” of dishes on arable land. Answer is found, both in mundaneareas of everyday life and folk beliefs. Examples are supported by archaeological discoveries.
