Summary/Abstract: Modern science is based on the axiom of infinity. Infinity implies continuity. Applications of sciences give an empirical argument for this axiom. Supposition that infinite set exists is quite natural and does not generate inconsistency. Financial institutions, banks and insurance industry, frequently act as if their domains - number of clients - were infinite. Consider time effect they may assume something like the axiom of potential infinity. This results in outburst of crises. Any arithmetic sequence which the first term and the difference are relatively prime numbers has infinite set of prime terms (Dirichlet sequence). Hypothesis. Series of inverses of prime numbers of a Dirichlet sequence is not convergent
