Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this paper was to propose a new methodological approach to the doctrine concerning the identification of the legal acts with aim to establish more precisely the new and/or changed functional position of the consecrated persons regarding the entire Church. The Author demonstrated that the canon law system provides acts whose fulfilment automatically determines the legal status of the agent, changing significantly, the prerogatives of that person. Self-determined acts can be divided into collective and individual. However, the interest of this paper has identified the most relevant ones last: transfer to another Institute, indult of exclaustration, indult of definitive departure, dismissal from Institute.
