Summary/Abstract: Today, information has become a strategical source in the period of access to the community of information, and the companies using it efficiently has come to a point at which they are more adventageous at competition. In our study, we have armed to evaluate the effective and managing role of the strategic leadership and the necessity of the transformation to the learning organizations in the period of transaction to information community. From this, a study consisting of three approaches has been realized by Arkas Holding which leads the sea-sector. In the course of the study, applicable capacity of Arkas Holding to this model has firstly been evaluated in terms of the Learning Organization Model with an empiricial research. In addition, using the archive searching and evaluating leader’s opinions thus learning organization and strategic leadership concept has been analyzed in terms of common criteria.
